Teachers,Teens, & Cell Phones
Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 12:27PM In my work talking to groups of parents, teens, and teachers I hear a lot of varying opinions about the same topics. This past Friday I was talking to a group of middle school and high school teachers and administrators
and they are just beside themselves about the prevalence of cell phones in kids' lives. They feel that the activity on cell phones is interfering with the quality of kids' homework and lives. They get especially upset that sometimes parents even text their kids during the school day to ask about grades. They are not against cell phones in general just about how they seem to be ubiquitous and that kids seem to be on them constantly. Just thought I'd let you know the perspective of school personnel.
Your thoughts?

I dont think it is great that parents are calling their children during their school day. Surely they can wait and share this information after school at home.
