College Acceptance Letter Etiquette

I want to share a lovely story that a father told me about his teenage son. The son had just received an early acceptance letter from his college of choice. At the same time, his best friend, he learned through the grapevine, had been rejected. He told his father that he was going to pull his friend aside and privately tell him about his acceptance. He was concerned about upsetting his friend and flaunting his acceptance publicly. This father was very proud of his son's manners, thoughtfulness, and etiquette. This week we will be writing more about college acceptance etiquette and hope you will join us with tips and ideas.

That is a very grown up thing to do and I can only imagine that he learnt this through his parents. You can translate this into so many other situationsa to spare others feelings and not flaunting what and who you are/have.
